Top amazing books that turned into a movie
As many readers know the struggle of having your favorite book turned into the movie and having it be disappointing because little detail, as well as certain things, change. Here are the top amazing books that turned into a movie but did not disappoint:
Harry Potter series. From readers to people living under rocks know of this franchise and it has left us all in love. Harry Potter was written by the highest grossing author, J.K Rowling (Joanne Murray). She was doubted upon and yet became the richest and most brilliant authors out there.
The Mortal Instruments City Of Bones. I personally prefer the books and movie over the series and was extremely pleased with the movie. Author Cassandra Clare (Judith Rumelt) is one of the best selling authors of her Shadowhunter Chronicles. She’s even won Goodreads Choice Awards – Best Debut Goodreads Author.
Percy Jackson & the Olympians series. These stories are based on Greek gods, one, in particular, Poseidon’s son Percy. The first book (Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief) and the second book (The Sea of Monsters) were made into movies. The movies were great but the books, as always, were the highlight of the series. Percy Jackson was written by Rick Riordan. Richard Russell Riordan Jr. is an American author. His books have been translated into 42 languages and sold more than 30 million copies in the US. I am quite fond of the characters and found that the actors were an almost perfect fit.
The Kissing Booth. The Kissing Booth was originally a wattpad book. Wattpad is an app/site where aspiring, great potential authors write or read other stories. Author Beth Reekles was one of them. She became a hit and became wattpad royalty. I personally love the movie and the book (by love I mean IN LOVE). After her success upon wattpad, she decided to release her talent through paperback and her success continues throughout our days.
To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before Series. To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before is a three book series about Lara Jean, who wrote letters over her years to her crushes. It wouldn’t have been such a fantastic series/ movie if the letters weren’t leaked to the boys, guess what happened? Wink. Overall, I found that all the actors were a perfect fit. I am in love with Lara Jean, her little sister Kitty, but most of all with Peter Kavinsky!
If there are any books that turned into movies and you’d like me to read or watch them, comment!
