The Mortal Instruments – City Of Fallen Angels
“Do you even really know how vampires are made?”
“Well, when a mommy vampire and a daddy vampire love each other very much…”
Blurb: Clary is back in New York and life is good: she’s training to be a Shadowhunter and is finally able to call Jace her boyfriend. But nothing comes without a price. When Jace inexplicably begins to pull away for her, Clary is forced to acknowledge that she herself has set in motion a chain of events that could lead to the loss of everything she loves. Even Jace.
Review: The characters have been through some outrageous plot twists that have just been let loose on the reader in the third book. I really enjoyed how Clare didn’t let slip any of the plot twists that the characters have been through and how now they have many harder challenges to face on the road ahead of them. Throughout the book, you can feel the emotions dripping from the characters and can’t help feeling what they are feeling and it’s almost like you’re going through their troubles yourself. The only part I didn’t enjoy too much is that it just felt like a filler and a lot more slowed down after the third book but perhaps it’s the calm before the storm. But other than that I really enjoyed the book and love the characters the Clare developed and on that note happy reading
