The Mortal Instruments – City Of Bones

Quote:

“It means ‘Shadowhunters: Looking Better in Black Than the Widows of our Enemies Since 1234.”

Blurb: Clary Fray is seeing things, vampires in Brooklyn and werewolves in Manhattan. Irresistibly drawn to the Shadowhunters, a secret group of warriors dedicated to ridding the earth of demons, Clary encounters the dark side of New York City- and the danger of forbidden love.

Review: This is a really great book if you love the action of the Hunger Games and Maze Runner but also love the love story of Twilight and the Fault in Our Stars. The characters are well developed to the point where they can be seen as close friends. The plot is established very well and although you get introduced to a new world, Clare explains every new term that you may not be familiar with. Overall, it’s a very good book with twists and turns the whole way through that I absolutely enjoyed. I really love the characters and world that Clare has created and have a lot of respect for her and I really hope you enjoy the book as much as I did. With that being said all I can wish is happy reading!
