The Mortal Instruments – City Of Glass

Quote: “I am a man,” he told her, “and men do not consume pink beverages. Get thee gone, woman, and bring me something brown.”

Blurb: Amid the chaos of war, the Shadowhunters must decide to fight with the vampires, werewolves and other downworlders – or against them. Meanwhile, Jace and Clary have their own decision to make: should they pursue the love they know is forbidden?

My Review: The Mortal Instruments – City of Glass is the third book out of six in the series. This book, I have found to be my absolute favorite book. A lot takes place but it is beautifully written and constructed the most mesmerizing story. Clary finds out the truth about her forbidden love, and many happy events take place. The feeling of happiness soon fades when an unexpected plot twist takes place. In the end, the characters grow step by step. I highly, highly recommend such a beautiful book.
